Digitrol has recently started shipping its first Processor Card product featuring a SMARC® (Smart Mobility ARChitecture) Computer-on-Module. Designed for use in industrial control environments, the card features an Intel Atom® x6212RE Processor and 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM.

The SMARC form factor was particularly suited to this product design due to its high interface count and low power consumption, typically as low as 6W, with two 4K resolution digital video channels and two 1Gb Ethernet ports on module.

With the launch of this product, Digitrol’s product portfolio now includes processor carrier designs for SMARC®, COM Express® Type 2, Type 6 and Type10, Qseven® and ETX®.
